Luke Bell’s family spoke after country star Died at the age of 32 years.
The singer’s family shared a statement with Fox News Digital, expressing their grief after Bell was found dead in Tucson, Arizona, last Friday.
“We have lost our beloved son, brother and friend, and we are sad,” Bell’s relatives said.

They continued, “Luke was a kind heart, a wandering soul and a musical gift he was lucky to share with us and the world. We are so grateful to his friends and fans for embracing Luke and his music. We would like to thank all Luke’s fans, friends and family who shared with him stories and photos of happy times.”

“Unfortunately, Luke suffered from a mental illness, which developed after his father’s death in 2015. Luke was supported during his illness by a community of loving family and friends.”
“Despite this, he was not able to get the help he needed to ease his pain. Our hearts are with the millions of people with mental illness who, like us, understand the devastating disappointment of a system that continually fails to provide care solutions to those who suffer.”
The family concluded their statement, “As we overcome our grief, we respectfully ask for privacy to allow us to grieve and honor his memory. Our only comfort lies in the fact that Luke is finally free and at peace.”
On Tuesday, an authority within the Tucson Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that officers responded to a report of a male “non-responder” near the 5500 block of E. Grant Street on August 26 before 1 p.m. local time.
The authority said officers, along with the fire department, began providing assistance to the unresponsive man before he was pronounced dead at the scene. Bell was identified as the man who passed away on August 29.
Authorities told Fox News Digital that Bell’s cause of death was “unknown” and opened an investigation into the death.

“He was in the back of the truck. I went to get something to eat. I got out, got off the truck and left.”
Kinman emphasized that Wyoming Saving Country Music reported Tuesday that a citizen was found dead not far from where he disappeared in Tucson.
Bell was “hiding an intense battle with bipolar disorder that will not shake it in the end”. He had disappeared several times before and “would end up in hospitals, or sometimes, in prison,” according to the outlet.
The publication stated that Bell’s condition has improved over the past year and a half due to medication and treatment.
However, Kinman, who is said to have “taken care of him for the past six years,” said he feared a recent change in Bell’s medication might have played a role in his disappearance.
After Bell’s death, a number of celebrities praised the singer on social media and emphasized the need for more mental health awareness and support.

The Oscar winner continued: “Please listen to #LukeBell today and honor the spirit of this country that lost its battle. I hope he finally finds the peace he sought.”

The band added, “I can vividly remember the first time I met Block at Hole in the Wall over a decade ago, right down to the clothes on his back. The guy (and his music) made an impression. It was real travel troubadour out there on that lost highway Do yourself a favor and put some Luke Bell tunes tonight into his memory. Rest in peace, my friend.”
